VidaEdu is an experienced student-centric education/work experience travel company, based in Portugal. VidaEdu are committed to offering exciting and meaningful programmes to appealing global destinations by guaranteeing, sincere, quality customer service and 24 hour support for students, agents and the employment providers.
Since 2010, VidaEdu has delivered thousands of international paid work programs, in dozens of countries. Recently, recognised as an outstanding, credible and ethical company, VidaEdu garnered the distinction and recognition of ‘Top 5%’ of all SMEs companies in Portugal.
Our paid programs in Ireland, UK and Portugal are offered to young people, aged 18 and above. These programmes provide meaningful paid work experience, the opportunity to gain, internationally recognised, first hand practical skills, while daily building their confidence in English and personal growth. The nature of full English immersion see students improve their spoken production and comprehension skills, they have little choice. English fluency is key to bolstering new horizons for all future career prospects.

MEET THE TEAM
Paulo Martins
Is the founder of VidaEdu. He witnessed the clear benefits, for young people of living and working abroad; offering an opportunity to gain valuable hands-on training and real world work experience. Paulo became a believer and created a company to deliver international work experience, with a modest salary and unlimited opportunity for advancement and promotion; all with a focus on English. Paulo has shared his experience with thousands of students, since 2010.
Having the opportunity to study with among the best academic institutions was an advantage, but stepping out of his comfort zone, he registered for a programme offering international paid work experience. He would witness and interact with different people from countless cultures and nationalities. It was a Eureka moment.
Paulo began his career with one of the global leaders of language training and educational travel. With this insight the foundation and framework for VidaEdu was borne.
Paulo, and the passionate team, are proud of the positive impact they have made in the lives and careers of so many young people. Nicholas Roycroft
Nicholas was born and raised in the UK. In his teens the family migrated to Canada. Unsure of a course of study at university, and having fulfilled the requirements for admission, he attended college for a chef apprenticeship. Uni would have to wait. This skill set has guaranteed employment anywhere, and for ever.
Prior to the beginning of university, he returned to the UK for a two year working holiday. This experience demonstrated how productive a short period can prove. This was a super charged enriched, learning environment. Nicholas would gravitate towards hotel management after university. His catering education and experience paid dividends; as a placement officer tasked with delivering thousands hospitality paid opportunities in the industry.
The student travel industry is an exciting, dynamic marketplace. Nicholas derives a sense of ‘job satisfaction’ by delivering life enhancing, wholesome, life affirming experiences. Nicholas has made Portugal home, since 2019.
